Good morning,
The WRF Domain Wizard is still recommended as a way to create namelist files for WRF and WPS and is hosted on the GSD website.

But this software is VERY VERY old. Using Java 2.0 software which isn't even installed on standard windows machines anymore or even modern linux machines.
So my question is why is this still listed in the user's guide and website as a viable option?
What other alternatives are there to generate namelist files for WRF/WPS?
If there are other options why are those not given a tutorial in the users page?
Alternatively, How about updating the old WRFPortal & WRF Domain Wizard to a new language or make it a GUI out of it?
Curious what peoples thoughts are.
