I’m currently running Noah-MP + BEP/BEM (sf_urban_physics = 3) simulations using HRLDAS/WRF and working with CGLC_MODIS_LCZ_global data for urban classification.
For a sensitivity experiment, I want to test the impact of ±20 % vegetation fraction changes (e.g., to simulate adding or removing tree cover) over an urban domain.
Can I directly modify the VEGFRA (or FRC_URB2D if relevant) variable in the geo_em.d01.nc file before running real.exe and HRLDAS, or do I need to modify the LCZ (LANDUSEF) categories and regenerate the geogrid files instead?
Goal is to cut the time short
