Hi all,

I tried to run WRF-Chem with LCZ and urban canopy scheme, but it failed.

The attachments are namelist.input, namelist.wps, and rsl.error.* files.

Please note that:

1. I tried to run WRF-Chem with default land use and it was successful.
2. I tried to run WRF-Chem with LCZ land use only for meteorology (chem_opt=0) and it was successful.
3. I tried to run WRF-Chem with LCZ land use for meteorology and pollutants (chem_opt=1) and it failed.

Additionally, i run all of the cases via 72 cores and the LCZ land use datasets are from https://www2.mmm.ucar.edu/wrf/src/wps_files/cglc_modis_lcz_global.tar.gz.

Could you help me to solve this problem?

Thank you very much.

Best regards,
Haofan

Hello Haofan

I think you are using too many processors, 72 is too high for your domains' sizes

Check this old post first:

Then, try again and see if that is your problem

All the best
