If I have a desktop or laptop what values need to be changed to the python code??

You would just need to set it up specific to the number of cores/nodes you have on your system. Typically desktops and laptops have a very limited number of processors and don't have multiple nodes, so the script is likely not really relevant to a small system like that.

Also I noticed this is in python2 format so if someone has python3 as their default configuration it will not work.
