TC_URB vs T_2m

Hi,
I have run WRF with the SLUCM and I am just interested in understanding the variable urban canopy Temperature (TC_URB)? and whether the 2m temperature is calculated the same way as without the urban canopy model?

Can anyone provide some information on this please? I see that the 2m temperature with SLUCM is always lower than the simulation without SLUCM. This leads me to guess that the 2m temperature with SLUCM is not the temperature 2m above street level.

T2 is a diagnostic variable in WRF, which is calculated using the same method independent of SLUCM.

Okay, I was told that with SLUCM what happens is that T2 is interpolated 2m above the roof level and not street level? Is this true?

No, I don't think so. T2 in SLUCM is 2m Temperature above street level.
