WRF v4.1 Vortex Tracking Issue: Immediate Crash with Thompson Microphysics Scheme

Dear Community,

I am encountering a persistent issue while running WRF v4.1 for tropical cyclone vortex tracking simulations. The model runs successfully with the WSM6 or WDM6 microphysics schemes, but crashes immediately upon execution when I switch to the Thompson microphysics scheme. real.exe completes successfully without errors. Below are the details of the error and my namelist.input. Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Will you try this same simulation with the latest version of WRF (v4.7.1) just to determine if code changes over the versions have addressed this? If it fails, please attach the latest namelist.input file and the out/error file(s) - if you have multiple rsl* files, package those into a single *.tar or zipped file and attach that. Thanks.
