error in sst_update

Hello everyone,

I am using sst_update in WRF, and the model runs without issues. However, I have noticed some extremely low temperature values at the land-sea boundaries in the wrfout output, which is causing problems for my subsequent MEGAN calculations. I am not sure why this issue is occurring.

Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,
The issue you are seeing is potentially related to the LANDSEA mask. There are numerous posts in this forum related to this (see this one, for example - you can also search for others if that one is not sufficient).
